One of the biggest challenges of my new job is getting my techno gadgets to play nicely with the gadgets provided by my company.  God bless them they have provided me with are more than adequate laptop stacked with the full version of MS office and an awesome projector to use for my presentation but for the love of God why do we need Oracle Connector.

Oracle Connector will not play nice with Franklin Covey Planplus or my beloved Blackberry curve.  Franklin Covey saved me days of frustration by just telling flat out it won’t work.  As for syncing the blackberry calendar to my oracle calendar I have been up and down the gamut of third party software to find a solution to sync my blackberry native calendar with MS Outlook running Oracle Connector.  Nothing will work.  I have tried SyncJE which is supposed to be supported by Oracle and several other products.  I have even had the top tech guys at Alltel on the case.  They were positive they could find a solution only to call back completely deflated telling me it was a no go.  I have been all over the crackberry.com forums and all the other forums looking for a solution but no luck.

It appears that several other of my fellow crackberry addicts share the same affliction.  I can’t help but see a spot in the market for someone who can come up with a solution.  For those of us who have the blackberry alarm waking us up, yahoo messenger keeping us in touch with the kids, gmail keeping us on track of our email and telenav keeping us going the right direction find me a easy way to sync my blackberry calendar with ms outlook using oracle connector.
