No, I’ll actually be cooking our turkey since family is traveling on Thanksgiving Day and won’t arrive until late. I could do some Thursday shopping as I notice some stores running specials then. hmmmm
I use to work at Wal-mart, and Black Friday is a day to avoid!!! Even though I would like to get a new laptop that Wal-mart will have, it’s not worth the standing in line for something that they’re run out of!!
I usually go late in the afternoon, and shop online the night before. But I may be brave and head to Michaels on Thanksgiving, supposedly they are open on Thanksgiving at 5pm, I think I heard.
Not sure yet. My DD and I usually get up about 6am, get some good coffee and something sweet, then head to the mall – but not to shop. We go to watch the people!!! My other favorite day to go to the mall is the Saturday before Christmas when all the guys are shopping. They are precious to watch as they search for that “perfect” gift.
Nope! I live in a very small town. It means driving anywhere from 35 to 80 miles to do any major shopping. We only have one son and his family and we started giving them money several years ago. That way the grands and our son and DIL can buy what they want and it’s easier on me and Grandpa.
I used to go about an hour before they open. have a plan and get in and get out.. If you know what you want, go straight to it. have a pal and you can get twice as much in half the time. then get to the check out and get out before it realy gets crazy. this year I have to work.. I guess I will save some money.
